Knitting and chickens

Yesterday, i finished my first scarf!

It's very soft and made out of 4 different types of funky yarns, it's very cool and I'm working on two more scarves: one made of the wispiest and thinnest yarn I have ever seen. I'll have to post some pictures of it when its done. And the other made out of alternating colors: pink, lavender, light-blue, and a brownish yellow.

We have 3 new chicks, two auracanas and a buff orpington. They were a week old when we got them, and it's been around a week or two since we got them so they are almost fully feathered. they are still pretty small, about the size of my hand with the fingers spread out wide.
They are still a little timid from being in the feed store for a week, but they are getting better.
